Dr. Michael Fehlings leads a dedicated team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists, neuropathologists, neuropsychiatrists, nurses and allied health professionals working together to provide expert care in a supportive environment. They are committed to combining state-of-the-art technology, groundbreaking research and personalized care, to prevent, treat and cure neural disorders.

The Inspiration behind the Krembil Neuroscience Centre
In 2001, Robert and Linda Krembil established the Krembil Family Chair in Neurology, thus beginning a long and fruitful relationship with Toronto Western Hospital. The following year, in recognition of a donation of $7 million, the hospital’s Neuroscience Program and Centre were named in their honour.

In addition to their support of Toronto Western Hospital, the Krembils have also been strong supporters of the community. The Krembil Foundation, established in 2002, supports a wide range of charitable initiatives, encouraging excellence and innovation particularly in the realms of health care, education and social service.
